BioYour Character's name: Takamasa Ishihara (known as Miyabi)
*Your Character's occupation: Kabuki actor specialising in female impersonation (onnagata), frequent visitor of the hanamachi
*Your Character's appearance: Miyabi's slender build and effeminate features allow him to maintain a feminine persona despite his towering height of 6 foot. As required for his roles his forelocks are uncut making him the ideal beauty of youth. In his free time, he can be dressed as either a man or a woman, but either way he is always dressed in the most stylish outfits that show his eccentric personality. Underneath his garments he is littered with an array of secret black tattoos, the most extensive being the heart sutra tattooed on his back.
*Your Character's past: Miyabi grew up in a small town outside Osaka, and was adopted into a famous kabuki family who had had no sons due to his femine appearance, and natural talent. Since then Miyabi has been trained in the roles of onna gata which he excels at, making him a well known actor of the Osaka kabuki scene. Off stage he is loud and arrogant, bordering on egotistical, and uses course language. But he is playful which allows most people to withstand him. His free time he likes to spend in geisha houses and brothels, where ever he can enjoy himself in hedonistic ways in the places where life is topsy-turvey and dreams can become reality. Ironically though, Miyabi's services are on offer to those who can pay, he is featured in many wood block prints, some intentionally erotic as a form of advertisement. Several lords are obsessed with him and battling for his affections, which are given on the whole falsely, Miyabi is a good actor after all.
